SUPPORTING FACO
Your tax deductible gifts keep FACO a vibrant learning and impact network that supports local wildfire preparedness leaders and connects them with state and national level partners, resulting in better wildland fire outcomes for all Coloradans.
Primary support for FACO programs and operations comes from private and federal pass-through grants. Promoting Ecosystem Resilience and Fire Adapted Communities Together, a cooperative agreement between The Nature Conservancy, USDA Forest Service and agencies of the Department of the Interior, supports our work through agreements with Coalitions & Collaboratives Inc. and the Watershed Research and Training Center’s Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network.
Program support is also provided through generous donations by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the Argosy Foundation, and people like you who envision a future where Coloradans coexist with wildland fires. Fiscal management and hosting of the Colorado Wildland Fire Conference and other events also offset costs and provide some operating revenue for the organization. FACO is an equal opportunity provider.
Donations submitted through donation forms on this site are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and are processed in U.S. dollars. Fire Adapted Colorado is a U.S. nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization (tax identification number 47-5539221) under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
