October 4: Field Lake Cristine Fire (2018) Tour (post-conference) = 6 CE’s SAF Category 1
Total potential SAF credits:

- 13 CE’s SAF Category 2
- SAF members seeking credits must sign the daily event continuing education roster.

2024 Colorado Wildland Fire Conference Scholarship Request
Are you eager to join us at the upcoming conference but facing financial constraints? We still have a few partial scholarships available to cover up to half of the full registration cost, including breakfast and lunch, and may include conference special events ($275 value).
Welcome to the Colorado Wildland Fire Conference
The Colorado Wildland Fire Conference is currently held every 18 months. Our 2024 conference will be in Snowmass Village, Colorado in October 2024; followed by a conference in the spring of 2026.
The Colorado Wildland Fire Conference is geared toward professionals working proactively to improve wildfire outcomes in Colorado communities and landscapes such as Mitigation Specialists, Emergency Managers, Firefighters, Researchers, Foresters, Developers and Policy Makers. Anyone wishing to learn more about how they can reduce their community’s vulnerability to wildfire is welcome to attend.
SAVE THE DATE for the 2024 Colorado Wildland Fire Conference, to be held on October 2nd & 3rd, in Snowmass Village, Colorado. The #2024CWFC will feature a pre-conference workshop(s), as well as a post-conference tour, socials and other networking opportunities. The collaborative event features a wide variety of presentations exploring the conference theme of “Meeting the Moment”.
