Our City encompasses 27 square miles of land and is surrounded by 71 square miles of city Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP). We respond to more than 10,000 emergencies annually.
Fighting structural, wildland and other fires; Responding to medical emergencies, rescue situations, hazardous material releases, and natural disasters; Boulder Fire-Rescue believes that community risk reduction through education is an important step to empower residents and spread public awareness about fire and life safety risks.
