James (Jimmy) White is a Cooperative Fire Protection Specialist with the Rocky Mountain Region, emphasizing in wildfire prevention and community wildfire mitigation. In addition, he supports grant administration for CWDG, SFC/SFA, and Congressionally Directed programs. Previously as a Fire Management Officer and Prescribed Fire and Fuels Specialist he facilitated several cross-boundary projects with an emphasis on strategic broadcast burning and has helped secure numerous partnership agreements in support of risk mitigation and prescribed fire support. Jimmy lives in Colorado with his wife Michele and two teens who are always looking forward to the next adventure around the bend!
